Over 2 lakh perform darshan till date
Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board reviews arrangements for pilgrims

Srinagar, July 8 – The Chief Executive Officer, Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board, Mr. B. B. Vyas, visited Nunwan Base Camp and Mir Bazar in Anantnag district today and took stock of the arrangements made for the facility of Shri Amarnathji pilgrims. He also reviewed the measures taken for ensuring cleanliness and sanitation in the Camps.

Mr. Vyas interacted with the Yatris and enquired about the facilities made available for them.

Meanwhile, a Spokesperson of the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board today said that the pilgrimage to the Holy Cave Shrine of Shri Amarnathji is going on smoothly on both the Pahalgam and Baltal routes and 9845 Yatris performed darshan at the Holy Cave on Tuesday.

The Spokesperson stated that 4810 pilgrims left from the Nunwan Base Camp and 4158 from the Baltal Base Camp to the Holy Cave this morning. He said that another batch of 1640 Yatris left from Jammu for the Nunwan and Baltal Base Camps today. As of last evening a total of 2, 26,319 pilgrims had performed darshan at the Holy Cave.
