5684 Yatris performed darshan on yesterday
Yatra suspended from Jammu on Saturday

Srinagar, July 4 – According to a Spokesperson of the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board, 5684 Yatris performed darshan at the Holy Cave Shrine of Shri Amarnathji on Friday.

The Spokesperson said that 2800 pilgrims left from the Baltal Base Camp and over 2000 from Nunwan Base Camp this morning on their journey to the Holy Cave Shrine. However, no Yatra was allowed from Jammu to the Pahalgam and Baltal Base Camps today.

Meanwhile, the Shrine Board heli-lifted yet another critically ailing Yatri, Shri Sachin, son of Shri Rakesh, resident of Ludhiana, from Panjtarni to Baltal Base Camp Hospital yesterday. He was suffering from hyperthermia.
