Yatra resumes from Pahalgam - 2477 Yatris perform darshan

Srinagar, July 30 – With a break of two days, Shri Amarnathji Yatra resumed this morning from the traditional route of Pahalgam with 2860 Yatris proceeding towards the HolyCave. The Yatra from the Nunwan Base Camp had remained suspended from this route for two days in the wake of incessant rains and slippery track.

A Spokesman of the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board said that a batch of 958 Yatris left the Baltal Base Camp for the Yatra this morning. From Jammu, a fresh batch of 354 Yatris left for the Nunwan and Baltal Base Camps today. He added that 2477 Yatris performed darshan at the Holy Cave yesterday.
