Srinagar (Kashmir), June 15: To invoke the blessings of Shri Amarnathji, Mr. R. K. Goyal, Chief Executive Officer of the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board, performed Pooja at Panjtarni on Chandanwari-Holy Cave track today o the occasion of Shri Amarnath Yatra-2011.
Mr. Surinder Mohan Aggarwal, President, Baba Amarnath and Buda Amarnath Yatri Niyas and Mr. Karan Singh Charak, General Secretary of the Niyas, participated in the Pooja organized by the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board.
Earlier, Mr. Goyal, accompanied by Mr. Aggarwal and Mr. Charak, flew to Panjtarni from Srinagar in a helicopter and performed Pooja on the banks of Panjtarni amidst chanting of Vedic Mantras.
The CEO of the Shrine Board also reviewed the ongoing Yatra-related works at the Panjtarni Camp which are progressing satisfactorily. He issued instructions to all concerned to ensure that all the arrangements need to be positioned on ground as per the envisaged time lines.
