Pilgrims allowed in a day for Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Yatra

Jammu (J&K), November 2, 2020 (Update)  - As per official communication, the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir has increased limit/ Quota for Yatra to the Holy Cave Shrine of Shri Mata Vaishnodevi from 7,000 to 15,000 pilgrims (Yatris) per day.

Jammu (J&K), October 8, 2020 (Update)  - As per Covid-19 Unlock 5.0 in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, the limit/ Quota for Yatra to the Holy Cave Shrine of Shri Mata Vaishnodevi has been raised to 7,000 pilgrims (Yatris) per day.

Jammu (J&K), September 28, 2020 - The Yatra to the Holy Cave Shine of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi resumed in August after nearly 5 months of interruption due to COVID 19. The Yatra initially started with restrictions allowing only a few numbers of visitors/ pilgrims/ Yatris every day, keeping in view the safety guidelines to curb the spread of Covid-19 disease.

Now Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board has increased the quota for pilgrims/ Yatris from outside Jammu & Kashmir from 100 to 500 people daily. 2,000 pilgrims per day, including 100 from outside Jammu and Kashmir, was the initial arrangement.
