One of the requirements is obtaining the prescribed 'Compulsory Health Certificate' from the authorized Doctors/ Medical Institutes.Yatris (Pilgrims) are required to furnish a Compulsory Health Certificate while seeking registration for Shri Amarnath Yatra.
The Registration process completes when a Yatra Permit is issued to the eligible pilgrims, who has submited a duly filled-in Application Form, Compulsory Health Certificate and a prescribed payment to cover the handling charges. For ensuring effective security arrangements along the difficult tracks, only those Yatris who are in possession of a Yatra Permit which is valid for a specified date and route are allowed to proceed beyond the Base Camps, and cross the Entry Gates.
